Christmas Tree Rental Checklist: Site Photos, Ceiling Height and Power Source

News

Why use a checklist before renting a Christmas tree?

B2B Christmas tree rental should not start with a fixed-height price question. The final scope can change depending on ceiling height, usable footprint, delivery access, power source, installation hours and handover deadline. A clear checklist helps LDM recommend size, concept and survey steps faster.

5m, 6m and 7m trees are usually faster to scope when the site is clear. 9m should be treated as a flagship option requiring survey. 12m and 15m are project-only scopes where the final quote depends on site survey, lifting access, power, anchoring or counterweight, weather exposure, deposit and crew schedule.

1. Site photos to prepare

Send at least four angles: the full space from the entrance, the proposed tree position, the ceiling above the position and the delivery route. A short video also helps LDM understand traffic flow and safety zones.

2. Ceiling height and usable footprint

Ceiling height decides whether the tree fits visually and technically. The usable footprint determines base decoration, safety zone and guest/customer movement around the tree.

3. Power source and cable route

Confirm the nearest power source, expected load, timer needs, cable-cover requirements and the internal person approving electrical safety. For 9m/12m/15m trees, power should be reviewed as part of the technical survey.

4. Delivery access and installation hours

Confirm entrance width, cargo lift, parking, material staging area, security rules, floor protection and handover timing. These constraints directly affect crew planning and schedule.

5. Choosing size by site type

5m fits showrooms, offices and compact lobbies. 6m fits standard lobbies and hotel spaces. 7m works for higher halls and premium entrances. 9m needs survey for flagship lobbies or atriums. 12m/15m require project planning around lifting, anchoring, power, weather and safety.
