Large Christmas Tree Installation Process: From Survey to Dismantling

The process starts with site survey, not a fixed price

Large Christmas tree installation should start from the actual site. The same 6m, 7m, 9m, 12m or 15m tree can change in scope depending on ceiling height, footprint, delivery access, power, safety zone, outdoor weather exposure and installation hours.

5m/6m/7m trees can be scoped faster when the site is clear. 9m is a flagship option that needs survey. 12m/15m trees are project-only scopes where the final quote and schedule depend on site survey, lift/crane access, power, anchoring or counterweight, weather if outdoor, deposit and crew schedule.

Step 1: site photos and preliminary size advice

Send site photos or videos, ceiling height, tree location, delivery route, power source, target completion date and concept direction. LDM then recommends a preliminary size based on space ratio rather than height preference alone.

Step 2: technical survey

The survey checks clear height, footprint, delivery access, cargo lift, staging area, power, cable route, floor protection, guest flow, safety zone and lift/crane access if needed. Outdoor sites also require wind, rain, ground surface and anchoring/counterweight review.

Step 3: concept, material scope, timeline and quotation

After survey, LDM confirms color concept, lighting density, ornaments, base decoration, branding, crew, lifting method, installation hours, handover schedule and dismantling schedule. The final quote should not be treated as fixed before the installation method and deposit are confirmed.

Step 4: production, staging, delivery and installation

The installation team prepares frame, foliage, lighting, ornaments, base materials, tools, safety gear and handover checklist, then installs the tree while protecting the site and keeping customer flow safe.

Step 5: handover, maintenance and dismantling

After installation, LDM checks lighting, stability, cable routes, photo zone and site cleanliness. Maintenance and dismantling are scheduled based on display duration and site operating rules.
